Wedge-tailed Eaglet at 6 weeks

At six weeks of age, the Wedge-tailed Eaglet is getting a good covering of darker feathers coming through the white down. The flapping is becoming stronger and the ability to tear meat from a carcass is also improving.

Filmed with a Blackmagic Ursa Mini 12k in 8k and then cropped in to 4k. The lens used was a Sigma 500mm f/4 and a Sigma 2x teleconverter. This was another very windy day, so there is quite a bit of movement in the footage and the focus is a bit off, but it’s worth a view.
